Three 6 Mafia - Mystic Stylez

Widely regarded as a quintessential junt for almost all ages, Mystic Stylez encompasses an exhaustive range of classic Memphis sound. The Three Six Mafia provides sweet rhythmic ballads in 'Da Summa', pounds your nut in with 'In Da Game''s hard and fast flow, and also hypnotises your bod with anthemic jams like 'Now I'm Hi'. As someone who listened to Mystic Stylez not as an introductory junt, it was foreign but also nostalgic in its hooks and samples. It is the 36 chambers of the south, an obvious mainstay of the genre. Probably the single best album to get an ear for 90s Memphis.

N.O.D. ‎– Niggaz Of Destruction (1996)

For what is in essence a memphis super group, the 'Niggaz of Destruction' self titled tape is largely slept on. Tom Skeemask, Project Pimp, Orange Mound Slim, and most notably the infamous Tommy Wright III ain't even half of N.O.D., so you know this shit is thick. The debut (and only) tape contains six tracks, including the ten minute mega-junt 'fugitive', and will satisfy yo' ass completely.

Tracklist:

A1: No Fear
A2: Tiny Lame
A3: Fuck Da World
B1: Bud Keeps Me Fiendin' Pt.3
B2: Niggaz Of Destruction
B3: Fugitive
